I was raised in London with a deep passion for both art and science, which led me to move to Southampton to pursue a medical degree. I completed my higher surgical training in the Wessex and Oxford regions, gaining extensive experience in ear, nose and throat surgery for patients of all ages. My specialised training included time at Great Ormond Street Hospital for Children and an advanced fellowship at The Evelina London Children’s Hospital. I was awarded my fellowship in 2010. Throughout my training, I had the privilege of working alongside many renowned ENT surgeons. 

 

Since 2012, I have served as an ear, nose, and throat (ENT) consultant at University Hospital Southampton, providing both general paediatric and adult ENT services, as well as tertiary-level care for children, receiving referrals from across the country. 
 

Over the course of my career, I have performed thousands of procedures for adults and children, including:
 

• Ear examinations and microsuction ear wax removal

• Nasal and throat camera examinations

• Treatment for nosebleeds

• Tonsillectomy and adenoid surgery

• Grommet insertion

• Surgery for blocked noses and eardrum repair

I am actively involved in national and international projects, focusing on developing training programs and guidelines. As the editor of the paediatric section for the journal ENT Masterclass I have collaborated with many global experts in the field of ENT, As part of the multidisciplinary team I also contribute to the national effort on primary ciliary dyskinesia services for children and mentor aspiring surgeons. I co-developed an award-winning course for doctors managing children's airway conditions and played a key role in establishing the UK's first laryngeal reinnervation service for children.

I take pride in sharing my work on a global scale and have published extensively in various medical journals. My contributions to the field have been recognised with awards, honouring my commitment to excellence and training junior doctors. With a strong passion for research, my collaboration with the Medical Research Council led to my earning a Doctor of Medicine degree.
